Miles leads development of The Polaris Report™, a monthly market intelligence report that tracks sales prices and absorption rates of new residential condominiums in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Silicon Valley and Oakland/Emeryville. Prior to joining Polaris, Miles was a research analyst at The Mark Company, a San Francisco-based brokerage firm, and with Market Profiles, a market research firm based in Southern California. An active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), he serves on the Communications Committee as well as the Steering Committee of its Young Leaders Group. He volunteers with ULI’s Urban Plan, an interactive program that teaches high school students about real estate development, and he co-created ULI’s The Executive Summary Series, which features online video interviews of prominent real estate developers and land-use professionals.
